Add item

Description of the function:

Add a new item in the menu

Steps:

1. Select an item to position the element to add

2. Either click on the Add item button button or right click on the item and click on 'add item above', 'add item below', 'add child item' in the popup menu.

3. Enter data in the 'Add item' dialog box

3.1 First, select the item kind:

- Dual: web page internal to the site with no managed process semantic
A dual item has the following characteristics:
- The associated html page (overview.htm) is contained in the site
- A directory with the same name (except some specific characters) and with the same hierarchy corresponds to the item (The directory hierarchy beyond <site root>/site/ corresponds to the dual item hierarchy). This property allow to navigate as easily in the physical site structure, as in the item hierarchy. /li>

- Shortcut: a shortcut item is an item pointing to a dual item or a specific class item
A shortcut item has the following characteristics:
- The associated html page (overview.htm) is contained in the site
- A directory with the same name (except some specific characters and the -> before the shortcut name) corresponds to the item. But the item hierarchy do not correspond to the directory hierarchy (because the directory associated to the shortcut item is the one of the pointed item)

- External: an external item is an item whose html page is external to the site.

Specific class:
a kind of dual item but with a specific process semantic managed by the tool

3.2 Choose Item Icon: choose an icon corresponding item when the node hierarchy is closed  (when you select an icon, the same icon is by default affected to the 'open icon' attribute)

3.3 Choose Item Open Icon: choose an icon corresponding to the item when the node hierarchy is opened

3.4 Position: Choose the insertion position relative to the selected item.
       Position could be:
        - UP (previous sibling - same level)
        - BELOW (next sibling - same level)
        - CHILD (insert as last child)

3.5 Select "Open in new window" if you want your html page to open in a new window and not in the right site frame.
