Role
Description: A role defines the
activities and responsibilities of an individual, or a set of individuals
in the context of a project / process.

A role do not match necessarily a position .

A person could be given several roles in the
context of a given project or even several projects.

A role correspond to a BPMN participant and can be
associated to a BPMN pool in the collaboration process schema.

- Description:
- Description: textual description of the role responsibilities in the
first language
- Description 2nd lang.:
- Description: textual description of the role responsibilities in the
second language
- Small image appearing in activity:
- Description: path to the small image of the role as appearing in the
activity schema (activity page)
- Image appearing in role and role group page
- Description: image of the role appearing in role and role group page
- Acting role group or generic role
- Description: indicate if the role is an
"acting role group" or a "generic role".
In booth cases, children roles have
to be added under the role either with standard item hierarchy or with
shortcuts.
If the role is linked to activities, then the activity - role
links are propagated to the children roles (can be viewed in the children
role pages)
* Acting role group: the role is in fact a group of roles - adding the group
means adding all members of the group.
Example of acting role group: Change Control Board
* Generic role: factorize the behavior of a set of roles. If the generic
role is added in an activity, it means that all derived roles participates.
